GICON® is an incorporated group of independent engineering and consulting companies, founded in 1994. GICON®’s headquarters are located in Dresden, Germany. Office locations throughout Germany provide services close to our German clients. Beyond Germany, GICON® is also engaged internationally and has offices in various European and Asian locations as well as in the Americas.

Services provided by the GICON® group include consulting & engineering, research and development and plant construction. Consulting & engineering is provided in the areas of business system planning, environmental / permit applications, energy technology, soil and water management, and information technology for a variety of industrial sectors. In cooperation with many national and international research institutes, comprehensive research services are provided to ensure the necessary innovation for GICON®, as well as for our clients, and to be involved in setting state-of-the–art technology standards. The spectrum extends up to our own technology developments.

Personnel

Dr.-Ing. Frank Adam was born in 1985 and has been working for the GICON® Group and its companies and for the University of Rostock since 2015. After studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Dresden and successfully completing his graduate degree, he received his doctorate in structural dynamics in 2015 from the TU Bergakademie Freiberg on the topic of “Investigations into the dynamic behavior of floating offshore foundations” (summa cum laude). As a head of the Department “Windengineering” (GICON®) and research group leader (UROS), he is now working in Rostock. Dr.-Ing. Adam’s primary areas are offshore wind energy use and floating substructures.

Vinay Kumar Vanjakula was born in 1994 and has been working for the GICON® Group and its companies since 2019. After graduating from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapuramu, India with a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering (2015), Vinay Kumar received his Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering from University of Rostock, Germany in 2019. He did his master thesis on the topic “Numerical Investigation of the Aerodynamics and Aeromechanics in a High-Pressure Transonic Centrifugal Compressor” at ANSYS Germany GmbH. Currently, Vinay Kumar representing as a project leader for NuLIMAS project from GICON® Group.
